On Saturday, September 3rd, I had the pleasure of attending the Giants game against the Diamondbacks with my good friends, the Stow family. I was able to sit in the stands with Bryan's parents and two sisters. Not only did we have a great time, but we were also able to introduce and promote to the Giants fans listening and watching, a fundraising effort that I initiated for the sole benefit of Bryan's two wonderful children, Tyler and Tabitha, called the "Bryan Stow Children's College Fund". I continue to be inspired by the outpouring of support for the Stow Family from Bay Area residents, Giants fans and people from all over the country. Out of this inspiration grew my desire to do something special for Bryan's young children who are innocent victims of this senseless tragedy. So I offered to establish a fund that would help pay for the college expenses for Bryan's children and would help encourage them during this difficult time to continue to reach for their dreams. I feel by investing in their future we all could be a part of their success . I believe access to a college education is one of the best investments parents can provide to their children.

The family and I coming together to roll out this effort on Strike Out Violence Night at the ballpark was a perfect venue to send a clear message that our community will come together to support victims of violent crime. We also produced a Public Service Announcement together, which I thought was one of the highlights of the day.

Please join me, and my friends in this effort by going to www.Support4BryanStow.com and clicking on the "Bryan Stow Children's College Fund" banner to make your donation today. Your donation will be a great opportunity for you and your family to continue to show your love and support for Bryan and his family.

Last Friday, April 22, I had the opportunity to visit another Bay Area Native and avid San Francisco Giants Fan, Bryan Stow, at the Los Angeles County - USC Medical Center. Many of you probably already know and have followed Bryan's story in the media, but for those of you who are not aware, Bryan is the San Francisco Giants fan who was brutally attacked on Opening Day at Dodgers Stadium. As I spent time with Bryan and the Stow family I was extremely touched by their strength and courage as they sit by Bryan's side day after day. I also spent some private time with Bryan in his room. I let him know that there are so many people who love and support him, and are pulling for him to get well. My prayers are with the Stow family and I look forward to taking Bryan and his kids to a Giants game when he recovers.

My Family Foundation, The Barry Bonds Family Foundation, will be donating $10,000 to the Bryan Stow Fund. I encourage all of you to also support the Stow family with your donations and prayers. Donations can be made to the family fund by sending them to:

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to my fans from all over the world who have sent me messages of love, support and prayers during this difficult time in my life. As a San Francisco Bay Area native growing up playing little league and going on to play for my hometown team, I have been especially overwhelmed by the support I have received in my hometown and it is hard for me to put my gratitude into words. To all my fans in the Bay Area, I simply say "I am humbled" and "I thank you" from the bottom of my heart. I have always drawn my strength from God, family, friends and my supportive fans - and this time was no different.

I look forward to entering the next phase of my life and giving back to the community that has given me so much.

God Bless and Go Giants!
